My approach to photography is all about capturing real, unposed moments.
I don't know about you, but I LOVE capturing the first reaction of any baby or child seeing a cake being given to them for the first or millionth time...the reactions are incredible each time! That's why I love offering cake smashes and birthday photoshoots in my wee home studio.
What's included is a a few pictures in their lovely birthday outfits, then the cake comes out and we get to capture the mess the ensues and then we finish off the photoshoot with a dip in my vintage baby bath tub. These are included in all of the packages available.
If you would like to make the bath a milk bath or a petal bath or if you have any other suggestions then I'm all ears and always willing to make things happen as best as I can.
There's no rush on the day, we take this at the pace of the star of the day and siblings are also allowed to join in for a few photos if they feel like it.
I currently don't provide a cake for the photoshoot, however I do provide birthday props and a wooden cake if the birthday cake doesn't go down well.

Frequently asked questions
Do you provide the cake for the smash?
I don't provide the cake at this time. You are more than welcome to bring whatever cake you would like and I am happy to dispose of it after the photoshoot if it's completely smashed.
Where is your studio located?
My studio is located in Balmullo, Fife in my garden.
How many people can I bring along to watch the cake smash?
My studio is a cosy wee cabin and due to this I recommend bringing no more than 4 adults and 3 children at the one time.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
Your gallery will be delivered digitally within 2 weeks of your photoshoot. Sneak peaks are delivered within 24-48 hours of the photoshoot date.
